Mission Statement
We are an Arma 3 unit focusing on providing a more realistic and immersive experience in the Halo universe. I know your first thought is going to be "this isn't at all what I'm looking for", but hear me out, we may turn out to be what you didn't even know you were looking for. The time period in the lore that we focus on is very different from the Halo games, which are a later time period. It may be the future, but the experience really isn't that different than you'd find in a more traditional modern milsim unit.
We're a UNSC Army Air Cavalry unit, we specialize in air assault, and high speed LALO (Low Altitude Low Opening) drops. We also have an attached SABRE team (essentially the Army's version of ODSTs). Our unit's timeline is set during the Insurrection War. During this time period many colonists were rebelling against the control of the United Earth Government (UEG), and in some cases entire colonies rebelled. Most of these insurrectionists are poorly trained and equipped guerrilla fighters, but some are well organized near peer military forces.
We use the Halo background lore as a base to build off of, and make logical and realistic additions to it where necessary (with heavy emphasis on increasing realism).
Most of our players are from NA, but anyone is welcome to join. No experience necessary, we have a great group of guys (including active duty military) that are always willing to help out new players.
