While it's not guaranteed that the game won't make an A+ attempt at disguising its flaws, I'd certainly say that it's headed in the wrong direction at the moment. These two weapon choices should be easy to come by in a 3D gaming environment. Instead, the game seems to be systematically making you trade everything that you might possibly want.
