Historical Information:
The kingdom of Hordaland was a small Norwegian realm located in south-west Norway. Its' most notable ruler, King Eirik of Hordaland lead the first attack against Harald Fairhair at the Battle of Hafrsfjord. A long and hard battle ensued however Eirik was slain along with many of his allies. Harald was able to unify the petty kingdoms of Norway after the battle and soon married Eirik's daughter Gyda.
About us:
We are a brand new EU clan ready to dive into Bannerlord on release, we are made up of players with all sorts of experience from many parts of the Mount & Blade community. Both players new to Mount & Blade and seasoned veterans are welcome and with the guidance of the experienced leadership of Deadwulf and Sam, we plan on being a fun, open but disciplined community that all can enjoy.
Our rank structure is as follows:
- High King (leader of a petty kingdom)
- Jarl (Lordship/Head of Council)
- Thane (Royal Advisor, Keeps an eye on the Military side and discusses clan matters with the
royalties based on how the clan is progressing.)
- Lendr madr (Lm) (The Baron of this clan)
- Skald (Members of the council, in charge of the clan site, for updates/report clan battles/clan
history/clan pictures)
- Hersir (Only Chosen by The High King/Queen or Jarl As their personal guard)
- Radningar (Strong Warrior, has proven his/her loyalty and strength during raids and is respected
by his/her members)
- Aesir (Strong Elite and loyal Members, Willing to train other fellow clan members)
- Vanir (Strong Elite members)
- Huskarl (Veteran Warrior has proven his/her loyalty and skills and is considered a trusted
member)
- Thegn (Experienced Warrior yet needs further training)
- Thrall (New to everything and has a lot to learn.)
The ranks are subject to change and more or less will be added if necessary.

Wow, this is some awesome historical context mixed with a cool intro to your clan! The story of King Eirik and the Battle of Hafrsfjord adds a really strong Norse flavor—definitely sets the tone for what sounds like a badass Bannerlord group. I like how you’re welcoming both new and experienced players; it’s great to see a clan focusing on community and guidance rather than just competitiveness.
