OUR COMMUNITY
Founded and led by military service-members both active and veterans, the Dark Star Imperium boasts a space for free speech and discussions, talk trash all you want but maintain respect to the clan and its members. The Dark Star Imperium is an meritocratic clan, what that means is how far you go is solely rested on the sweat of your brow. Even our top leaders started out as new members at one point in time. We seek to reward those who are the back-bones of society, rather than the leeches. We are a brotherhood with a passion for not just PvP, but creative design and originality. Our Members are our greatest asset, and as such those that earn their place within the hierarchy can stand tall with pride amongst others like you.
We are experienced in faction/clan PvP, engineering, politics, tech, and all sides of both PvP and PvE content. No matter your playstyle, we have a place for You! Our philosophy on all aspects is going beyond the competition by overwhelming levels. Overkill is the standard we hold ourselves to. When it comes to establishing supremacy, we strive to excel in all aspects over the competition. Are you tired of other groups not being the right fit? Then maybe DSI is your home.
OUR CULTURE
At our core DSI is a warrior culture, where those with an unwavering passion and unbending loyalty for the group thrive. We put our collective efforts together to make a better tomorrow. As meritocratic imperialists your efforts directly corelate into progression within the group, even if it is at the expense of exterior clans. We put both our people and our clan first and foremost, and we expect our members to do the same. As a tight knit brotherhood, you can expect to be surrounded with those like you who are willing to do whatever it takes to advance the clans collective interests
EXPERIENCED LEADERSHIP
Governed by those with both real life military, and Geo-political experience you can rest assured that you are in good hands. Existing continuously for the better part of a decade, while all other groups inevitably turn to dust with time you can be certain we will remain and thus your efforts will not be wasted. Endurance is a vital virtue within DSI, and with our leaders having been intensely stress tested over time you will know that no matter how hard the going gets, we will stand firm against the tide where other groups leaders may waver and give up.
In DSI, we are a collectivist group but we are also meritocratically, imperialistically, and militarily based. With that we have a hierarchy that is nuanced and nestled between overall authority, positional authority, and the skill of the person. In games, immediate positional authority takes ownership of command in a given situation. Outside of positional authority, in situations of similarly in-game ranked individuals, DSI tier rank takes over to include modifications via the skill rank system. This is so that those who are the most qualified are always in charge.
