Who I am
I'm in my early 30s from the UK. I consider myself to be a nice guy with a good sense of humour. I enjoy loads of different comedies from The Simpsons to The Office (UK and US) and Parks and Recreation, I’m also a sci-fi such as Star Trek, Star Wars and Doctor Who. My brain is full of relevant and hopefully funny quotes for almost any situation and at work I’m constantly drawing links from things to some episode of TV.
Speaking of work I’ve previously managed branches of Game and Gamestation in the UK but changed careers almost a decade ago.
I’m predominantly a PC gamer although do have all the current gen consoles, I tend to only play those for exclusive games.
I’ve previously been in a few gaming clans over the years, all of which I’ve sought to pitch in with in some manner ranging from being a donator to leadership positions. When I’m part of something I like to put my effort in to it.
These days I tend to enjoy PvE activities as I find they facilitate a more relaxed and social gaming experience but I do still enjoy large scale and objective based shooters such as the Battlefield and Battlefront series.
What I’m looking for
I am looking for a group whose primary focus is enabling it’s members to have fun. I’m not looking for an overly complicated organisation that makes it hard work to be a member. Don’t get me wrong professionalism and organisation are attributes I really appreciate but I don’t see the point of making things much harder than they need to be.
Ideally I would look to be in a relatively large group, whilst I appreciate and often prefer smaller more closet knit groups I want to balance that against there being enough active members to be able to easily find others to play with.
These days I don’t always get as much time for gaming and my schedule can vary considerably so I want to join a group where it won’t be an issue if one week I only have a few hours and another week I might be able to play for days.
I’m a good gamer generally speaking, for most competitive multiplayer games I tend to finish in the top half comfortably and whilst I like to win games I don’t want a group that is ‘hardcore’, for me gaming should be about having fun as opposed to being forced to perform at a high level all the time. I don’t want to play with others that will put teammates down or throw a tantrum if we lose.
Oh and yes I have a microphone.
Why the essay?
Well obviously I want to find the best group for me so it helps to be clear about who I am what I want and don’t want. I don’t want to waste anyone’s time by joining a group where I’m not a good fit for you.

This is going to be a long read but it is necessary because I believe in being open and attracting people without any false advertisements.
We are currently 4 players who are real life friends. I know you said you want a large group but listen me out bud. We decided a few weeks go that we wanted to build a community. A community of gamers who are chilled and looking to have fun and into dark humour and sarcasm.
We started the process with Division 2 and we play it everyday. We have players that play Siege (hardcore) and myself I play a variety of games such as Halo, Forza and Destiny. We have all consoles so we play a vareity of games casually and we have fun with it.
Our aim is to build a community of like minded gamers who are there for fun and willing to use the mic. We do not accept anyone below 20. And we do not have time for drama. Give us a try. If it is not your cup of tea then feel free to leave. We try our best to help each other and that will be the foundation to growing a community. Help and Support. We have a community which will fit you perfectly I think. We emphasize having a good time and keeping things casual (although most of us may have a "hardcore" gaming background). A lot of our members are in their late 20s/early 30s and generally also have real life obligations (such as work/wife/kids/etc.)
Our prime times are: 19:00 - 22:00 GMT (so UK time).
Most of our (active) members are from NL / BE / UK / Denmark / Finland and a few other european countries.
