"To raid, abet, and conquer."
This is a fairly small UK based clan, looking for other UK players who play on a fairly regular basis. Whilst you don't need to be a hardcore player, we are looking for players who play the game regularly and are keen to get involved with clan activities, including Raids and Nightfalls.
- Be a regular player;
- Be sociable, and willing to contribute to group activities;
- Be able to speak English, as we are a UK based clan;
- Be over 18 years old.
As part of the clan, participation is important. Whilst I'm not going to turn people away just because they have never completed the raid before, you will need to be willing to participate with group activities such as raids, nightfalls, trials, etc.
I really want to avoid the clan from becoming a group of cliques where only the same small groups within the clan play or raid with each other. The aim is to have a clan where we can jump in and play with anyone online.
If you are a trophy hunter or are not willing to be part of a group that helps each other out, then this is not the clan for you.
Experience isn't necessary, especially when it comes to raiding. I often run Sherpa raids for new raiders, which I always enjoy, and I am listed as a Verified Sherpa on the Destiny Sherpa Reddit. You can view my Sherpa Card here, if you like:
Each week, I tend to run through the raid at least once, and usually multiple times. There are two types of raid that I tend to run, which will determine who I will raid with.
A Sherpa raid is a tutorial raid. These are for new raiders who may not have done a raid before in their life, or for veteran Destiny 1 raiders who may not have completed the Leviathan or the Eater of Worlds Lair yet.
Sherpa raids are time intensive, and usually take several hours to complete. Whilst I do offer Sherpa raid runs now and again, please make use of these when I offer them, as I don't get a lot of free time to run these, and this will be your best opportunity to learn the raid more quickly.
I define a quick raid as one where I know that all six players have completed the raid at least once, and are confident and competent enough to get the raid done in about an hour and a half.
Therefore, if you've joined the clan and want to learn, that's not a problem, but you won't be invited to a quick raid unless I know you've been through the raid, and are comfortable with the mechanics.
Removal From Clan
Every so often we will have a clan clearout, and any inactive or non-social players will be removed from the clan. This is not personal, but at the end of the day, if you are not going to participate in the clan activities, or do not play very often, this is not the clan for you.
Still Want to Join?
If we sound like the clan for you, please drop me a PSN message. My PSN is Batterfly.
I'm no longer accepting random requests directly to the clan, as we've had a number of players do just that who turn out to be irregular and non-sociable players. So, drop me a message, and we'll take it from there!
