Hey all, and welcome to another edition of Developers Blog.

LFC Discord

So what's new? For starters, we're trialling a Discord Channel. We're not sure whether this will become a permanent fixture for the site right now, but your feedback / input is always welcome. We'll keep it up for the coming months, and review in 2019 to see how things are going and whether it should become a permanent addition.

It's also an attempt by me to be more approachable and easier to contact ;) I'm on the Discord! Welcome to come and say Hi.

Clan Self Moderation

After some popular feedback from our resident clan leaders, we've added the ability for you to self-moderate your clan profiles. It will now be possible to delete comments made on the clan pages you own.

Clan Invites

Next up, a new "Clan Invites" tool for premium clans is in BETA. The idea is to allow clan leaders to browse the Recruitment section of the site and send out quick invites to those that interest them.

If you're an owner of a premium clan, you should now see a handy "Send Invite" tab when viewing someone's user profile.

The current feature will send the target player an on-site notification linking them to your clan profile.

It's simple in it's current form, however, in future you can expect:

• An accept / deny dialog for the recipient.
• Clans will be limited to x invites per day (exact number TBC after BETA).
• Ability to set a "Join" URL for your profile. It's come to our attention it's not always immediately clear for user's how to sign up (especially for profiles with no description). We aim to fix that with a prominent "Join" button.
• Opt-in from players. Invites can only be sent to those who mark themselves as "Looking". Enabled by default on registration, can be disabled in your account settings.

We'll keep you posted on how this feature develops in the next general update.
